This review is late but I thought it important to share as I wouldn't return here.I took my 2 year old daughter here after two of her molars on top quickly degraded(like in two weeks time). I was shocked and have done some research to find that antibiotics as a newborn and being 7 weeks premature was probably the cause. I was told she needed caps on those teeth and we made the appointment. I tried to prep her with role play as I was told they strap her in a papoose style thing to keep their arms tied in. And of course they use a drill. I also massaged her with lavender oil just before to calm her. The assistant was kind and tried her best to make my daughter comfortable. I was annoyed when they said I could sit in a chair 7 ft away from her but not be next to her. She was only 2! They said there wasn't enough room. Regardless I came up and started to soothingly rub her legs and sing to her because she was in distress. They gave the numbing agent and literally immediately the dentist went straight to drilling! They said it acts immediately but from the sudden jerk and violent cry from my two year old that didn't appear to be the case. I was shocked! I said 'I dont think the numbing is working yet?' She said she could give her another shot of it which she did. When we got to the other side though I asked for the dentist to wait a minute after administering the numbing agent . She seemed annoyed but obliged. This time my daughter was numb and ready and there were no tears. Not sure what the rush is. Why couldn't she wait a moment the first side. These are just little beings after all. No need to traumatize. I will say she was quick but she could definitely work on her bedside manner.

Now it's been two years and the caps have always been a sensitive area for brushing and the gums around always bleed. My daughter more often times than not pulls away when I brush that area no matter how gentle I am.so we're going to another dentist to check it out. There's no visible signs of sensitivity though. Anyways, I'm trying to find a dentist who is sensitive and kind and personable to all children and treats them with respect like they would an adult. Hope this helps someone.
